Below is a list of 2  summer day camp content


Summer Week long-

Outdoor Skill Day Camp

Summer Camp Scout Skills

Monday - Friday 8:30-11:30

Ages 9-17 / Cost is $85 per child

Skills below are typical of program requirements for boys & girls Scout programs such as Trail life & AHG.

To sign up- children without a parent in attendance must bring a medical form. And each family must sign a waiver to participate. All group gear is provided.


  • Archery range each day
  • Mon-Tool-craft (safety & making a stake)
  • Tues-Fire-craft & tinfoil meal
  • Wed-Rope-Craft (knots, whipping, lashing)
  • Thurs-Patrol Methods (working as a team)
  • Fri-Orienteering (Map & Compass Course)


At the end of the week participants' entire family are invited to come out to Eagle's landing from 8:30-11am, Saturday.

 Archery competition and pot luck meal.

 Households need to  bring a side dish or desert.

We will provide hot dogs, hamburgers and a drink.

Including: strokes, wet entries, water reads, un-swamping a vessel, portaging, identifying parts of a canoe & paddle,

  • Mon-Waterfront safe swim defense plan

& 100 yard Swim ability test

Proper PFD's

Reach, Throw, Row, Go

Swim Qualification & Buddy System

  • Tues-Rope-craft 

Short, end & eye splicing

  • Wed-Fire-craft

Making Charcoal

Flint & Steel fire starting

  • Thurs-Water Drills

Canoe Skill Testing

  • Fri-Rowing

Introduction to rowing

  • Kayak Tug-O-War Competition 
  • Pot luck Lunch
